Our Story

Hi! We’re the Wolfgongs. We moved to the Falls Farmhouse in the summer of 2022. A year later, Erin started to bake sourdough bread. Our family teased us that chickens would be next, and they weren’t too far off. A couple months later we picked up some fertilized quail eggs and we patiently waited for them to hatch.

After one batch of quail eggs, we were hooked! My son declared that we lived in a “real farmhouse” now. We’ve had so much fun with the quail that we want to share the experience with your family. We know that not everyone can (or wants to) have little birds around all the time, but everyone is delighted by fluffy baby chicks. That’s where the hatching rental program started. Enjoy the cutest part of raising chicks and then send them back (or keep them if you’re hooked too)!
