How It Works:
- Order Your Kit: Specify whether you are a family, homeschool group or classroom. Select your desired time frame (within 2 weeks, 1 month or 2 months out). Choose your delivery method.
- Receive Your Kit: If you’re within the delivery area, your kit can be delivered to your doorstep with everything you need inside. If you’re outside the delivery area specify which pick-up location you’d like to use.
- Set Up & Hatch: Follow the straightforward setup instructions to prepare the incubator. Reminder texts will be sent at each step of the way to make it easy.
- Watch Them Hatch: Quail hatch around day 18 of incubation, but they may break out a little early or a little late. Keep an eye out around day 16 and beyond to witness the thrill of new life emerging before your eyes.
- Enjoy & Learn: As the chicks hatch and grow, enjoy observing their development and learning about their care.

I’ve always wanted to hatch baby chicks so when I saw Erin offer this opportunity in a friend group of mine I was very elated! We also have 3 little boys who watched patiently every day for the eggs to hatch.
Once the chicks started to hatch (really cool to watch) they stood there for over an hour waiting for more! Now, as you can imagine, little boys don’t stay still for very long so this was a miracle inside a miracle! We waited for them to dry off and get fluffy and took care of them for a week. It was the perfect amount of time to get comfortable with them and the instruction book and supplies were very clear and easy to follow. We were sad to give them back, actually! Everyone we have seen this summer, the boys say “we hatched baby chicks!” and that in itself made it all worth it. I think we will do it every year.
